Sura and Baya statue

In the city you will find 2 statues like this; one at the zoo and one at the river. It is the symbol of the city because of a famous story. Sura means shark and Baya means crocodile, hence the name of the city. The story goes that these 2 creatures fought each other in order to gain the title of strongest and most powerful animal in the area.
