To reach the town of Juneau your ship will need to sail through the Gastineau Channel. Make sure to be on the outside deck to enjoy the scenery about an hour before arrival and an hour after departure.

This is the tower where you will get a beautiful view over the city of Vancouver. It is a simple 40 second elevator ride to a 553 ft / 168 meter above the ground. During this time you will sailing through the largest port of Europe with here and there your typical Dutch landscape. The structure you see on the picture is the Maeslandkering. This is one of the largest moving structures on earth designed to keep the lands of the Dutch dry.

Just over an hours drive from Benoa, to the north of Ubud you’ll find Tegallalang. At this town you’ll find the most breathtaking views over the rice terraces. A little bit north of Tegallalang you simply have to lunch at either Dewa cafe of Bon Bali, they both have delicious Balinese food while you are enjoying a view like this. This is a mandatory photo stop. From port it is 48 km / 1,5 hrs drive to the north.
